SURPRISE

Surprised is what what I was this morning at my WW weigh in. I lost 4 pounds! This is why I love WW. It totally changes your mindset of food so even when you do overeat in your mind-you really aren't eating as much as you would have normally ate because your definition of overeating has changed! Thank you WW. Other than that, my day was busy and full of students. Now I'm ready for Prison Break and some snuggling in my bed with all my pillows. Cannot wait for some Boyfriend time tomorrow night. Like real, legitmate BOYFRIEND time. Food, hanging out, laughing kind of couple time. CANNOT WAIT. Happy Thursday Night y'all.

Ya Win Some, Ya Lose Some...

Today was a fab day-great work day with great leads. Great day for my diet. Great day for shopping bargains. Bad day when I come home to a sick dog... Any way, glad my pup is feeling better :) Check out the new collars daddio Jon got for the little ones :)







Thoughts for my day...

Have you ever just fought something? Fought accepting something, but you're not even sure why you were ever fighting it? I do this way too often, but over this past weekend-I just stopped fighting it. I feel so much happier and ready for the next thing in life now that I've accepted this. I've been fighting it got quite some time now. Thank God for his faithfulness. He is good. Life is good. Goodnight Readers.

Another day

So today was a great day. I got to sleep in and spend a little time with the boyfriend which was MUCH needed. I worked a 12-8 today and I loved it! It actually helped with my diet. Here is what the menu looked like today...

Breakfast: Mocha Protein Shake-5 points
Lunch: Fat Free Bologna Sandwich on low calorie bread with fat free Pringles-6 pts+
Dinner: Grilled Chicken Wrap no dressing 7 pts+
Snacks: Fiber One Chocolate Chip Bars-2 pts+ each and I had 3 for a grand total of 24 points!

I made myself a little dessert from Fat Free Whip to make up for the few points I was missing for the day. I have to have 29 points a day! So my day was going well until I heard a huge noise as I was getting ready for bed...I had made the dogs homemade dog treats and apparently Tuck found them... & as I was chasing her down this happened...New manicure. Stlyin I know...Goodnight Friends!

Sometimes Life Gets in the Way

Hi!!!!

O, how I have missed blogging and all our readers! I am truly sorry for being M.I.A. So my travel season with my new job has been in full swing the past two months. CRAY CRAY! :) So as Lindsay already mentioned-I joined Weight Watchers. I am loving it! Pumpkin Show was last week so it was a bit of a set back but I already started a little detox today to get me ready for another week of point counting. I really do love it. It enables you to eat out and not feel like you're going off your diet which is exactly what I needed especially for this season of life. Traveling has been so much fun, but obviously when you're out of town for 4 days a week-you have no choice but to eat out. Weight Watchers also puts an amazing perspective on how little you actually need to eat in order to feel satisfied. I also love my little meetings where everyone shouts out new recipe ideas or snack ideas. It's such a good circle of support.

Long Time No See

Ahhhhhh! I can NOT believe how long it has been since we have posted! My life has been SO busy the past month, and, usually when that happens, Britt just kind of takes over the blogging world for a bit. Unfortunately, she has been just as busy as I have and I'm sure has had no time either.

So, our most sincere apologies!

On the flip side, we are both SO far from falling off the bandwagon!! I have been doing better than EVER with my fitness plan.  Since I last posted almost a month ago, I have lost another 10 pounds :) and Britt just found out today that she has lost 8 pounds! I have had so much good information that would be great for blogging--I just wish I had more time!

Things MIGHT settle down a bit...but I highly doubt it. I'll definitely try to keep in touch as much as possible!

The keys to my latest 10 pounds success? My Fitness Pal Food Diary and exercise. I am on a 1200 calorie daily diet plan that I have stayed under VERY successfully every day, and I try to exercise for an hour a day (half an hour on busy days).  The important thing is that you make SOME kind of effort to exercise every day--even if it's just for 15 minutes.  It will be worth it, and it makes a huge difference.

Britt attributes her success to joining Weight Watchers recently...but I will let her tell you about that if she ever gets a chance to write. She's doing so great though!

As for things upcoming, Britt is actually in town for the weekend. We are heading to Cedar Point tomorrow for some fun at Halloweekends! :) So excited! I always do so well at Cedar Point for some reason- I don't get very hungry since we're so busy all day, and all the walking is an awesome workout.

Also- Britt and I will be aunts once again on Monday!!!! Our sister is set to be induced on Monday, so we will be welcoming baby Jax into the world. :) I'm super excited to be an aunt again to an adorable little nephew, and I know that Bella is very excited to be a big sister. She talks about it all the time--she even told her mom that she wants to be a "Big Sister" for Trick-or-Treat. :) So cute!

I will DEFINITELY be posting some pictures of the little cutie when he gets here!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Good luck on your fitness endeavors, and don't give up just because you get busy.  Find ways around it! (Mine was reading my homework while working out on the elliptical :))

P.S. I am SO enjoying this fall season!!! Pumpkin flavored and scented things EVERYWHERE and chilly air makes for one happy girl here!
