What? End of July?

Holy kale! It's already the end of July? Whaaat? Time is flying this year-as usual.

Updates

This weekend was awesome. Linds and I had a pretty laid back weekend which was nice for us, sisters. We both seemed to need it. We had some good eats including a place my friend Heidi recommended, did a little shopping, watched some late night scary movies, and got in some great health chats and girl talk.

We started the weekend off by trying out a new deli in town. It's called Ritchie's New York Deli. It was awesome. I had some tuna on gluten free bread. It was amazing! We also cheated a bit but only because the owner there brought us free cannoli-who turns down cannoli. Not these girls! We went to Harvest Moon for dinner that night. My friend Heidi from http://sewdysfunctional.blogspot.com/
recommended it. It was awesome! Linds wasn't the craziest about it, but she did find a chicken panini that she liked a lot.

We did some shopping in the downtown area because they were having sidewalk sales! Jon spoiled me a bit with these AWESOME sandals. Funny story, I had just been complaining to Lindsay that the comfy shoes mainly sandals are never cute or stylish. I need both of these things due to my foot issues as of late aka this entire year. We were looking over Maggie & Me's sales when I spotted these beauties. Guess what? 40% off & built in arch & super cute! We did more shopping at the outlets Saturday and finished our morning with a cheat trip to Lindsay's bakery. It was amazing, but I have literally spent this entire day detoxing from the cheat eats I had.

We ended the day at Tuscan Table-italian restauarant. After that, Lindsay and I made a Kroger trip to learn more about what we are eating. I got to give her a good run down of the book I read and the eating habits I've changed the past week or so and explained why I made the changes. She really liked what she heard, but I'll let her tell you more about all of that.

I finished my weekend with grocery shopping, cleaning, a hike with Jon, & chatting about our bucket lists. And finally---Bachelorette! YAY TEAM JEF!!!! He won! Love that boy.

All in all, it was a really fun weekend. I wish Linds & I could live together for a few months at least!

P.S. New eating habits are doing wonders! I lost 1.8 pounds. That is the most I've lost in one week since I started this whole thing. It's been like inching off in .2 increments :( So it was awesome to see that on the scale!
