Guess what? I have officially decided to become a vegetarian. I've been reading a new book. Check it out.
Everything in this book makes total sense. It's written by a chemist so it's not your typical source which really helps. He talks about what your bodies are actually made to take in and digest. Most of the obesity in America is caused by the things we are eating. Keys to his book so far?
1. Organic
2. Meat free
3. Dairy free
4. Gluten free
He also goes into what foods to eat with what other foods. For example, you should only eat fruit alone. Fruit digests extremely fast so when we eat it with other things, it gets in the way of proper digestion of the fruit. By the time fruit gets digested, it's already rotted in our stomach. Gross, right? J
Jon & I celebrated our 1 year last night with a trip to Ikea and Chipotle and Starbucks of course.

Today we headed downtown to check out Northstar. We loved it! I got the Vegetarian version of the BBQ Pork Wraps with Organic Green Iced Tea. It was pretty darn amazing. We also tried a great new coffee place. I believe it was called Impero. We headed to Urban Outfitteres before we ended at Whole Foods. Jon is going to do the Daniel diet this week. It's pretty much the same thing that I'll be following indefinitely. We both stocked up on several things so it was a very successful trip for both of us.
Anyone else making changes to their same old way of eating? Here is to vegetarian-ism & triatholon training! Cannot wait to get on the ball with all of this!
Check this out-Lona tore her rawhide treat in half and let Tuck have one half! How cute. I'm sure that's totally what she was meaning to do as well.
